Drive with Rido
Rido drivers are verified before their first trip. Here is exactly what you will be asked for, and what happens after you send it.
Driver registration happens in the Rido app. This page walks you through the flow so you can gather everything before you start.
The flow
Download Rido, enter your phone number, and confirm the code we send you by SMS.
When you create your profile, pick Driver instead of Rider. This unlocks the documents and vehicle sections.
Open Profile, then Driver details, and enter your licence number, vehicle, and NIPT. You can edit these until they are approved.
Open Profile, then Documents, and upload each file. Five are required and one is optional.
Once all five required documents are approved, the online switch unlocks and you can start accepting trips.
What to prepare
Each document is reviewed on its own. Your vehicle details are checked separately, so one is never blocked by the other.
Take a photo, choose an image, or upload a PDF. Each file must be under 5 MB.
Vehicle details
These are entered by hand in Driver details, and reviewed separately from your documents.
After you submit
Get the app, choose Driver when you sign up, and work through the steps above.
